Then you came to the right place. Our location has no light pollution which makes the chances of experiencing the northern lights very high.
As a guest at ÆRA, you can see the Northern Lights while eating your evening meal in your own cabin. We also provide aurora alarms so you never miss the opportunity to experience the magical lights dancing in the sky.

ÆRA's cabins are carefully positioned to offer unobstructed views, free from the distractions of urban development and light pollution.

Accessible Lodging
As our valued staying customers, you get to a brand new electric rental vehicle included in your stay by booking from our website!
We offer the availability of rental cars if booking is done two weeks in advance. All cars have space for five people. Pickup and delivery at the airport.
We offer only new cars, and electric cars, to ensure comfort, quality, and sustainable transport for our guests. The cars will be picked up and delivered at Tromsø Airport, Langnes. Instructions to pick up your rental car will be sent to you via email one week prior to your arrival.
BIltrend opening hours: 09:00 - 16:00
Please note that extra fee of 800NOK may accure if you want to pick up the rental car after Biltrends opening hours.
None of the activities in Tromsø actually take place in the city center, so we recommend that all travelers have rental cars to get around.
Tromsø Taxi: rates are usually between NOK 700-1000,- per direction, altough this varies based on time, season, holidays, etc. Contact Tromsø Taxi for more information at +47 03000 or download the app "Tromsø Taxi".
Public transport: Daily Public busses from Tromsø Prostneset to Æra and back, from Monday to Friday.
